The Wimbledon Park Limassol Ice Arenas are a completely new and unique sports facility, both for the city of Limassol and for the whole island. Two covered arenas with artificial ice rink perfect for amateur and professionals in hockey and figure skating as an ideal place for training, organising training camps and tournaments within the setting of a beautiful island that enjoys 320 sunny days a year! Great location for sports fans to enjoy the championships and events as the Arena can accommodate up to 800-1,100 spectators.

Everything at the Ace Arenas is thought-though to offer the utmost functionality and convenience for athletes, spectators and staff alike. The arena is well-equipped with:

  • Video goal registration system and electronic hockey scoreboard;
  • Tribunes for up to 800 spectators;
  • Two viewing zones for journalists at working at the events;
  • Commentator booth;
  • Coaching rooms perfect for strategy sessions;
  • Comfortable changing rooms;
  • Disabled facilities and access: special disabled parking, accessible toilets, ramps, elevators and special spectator seats in the ice arena;
  • Sports café;
  • Skates rental service.

The arenas are also open to public skating sessions and can be transformed into a concert hall for events sitting for up to 1,100 viewers or into an exhibition venue. 

Ice Arenas are a universal venue with 2 ice rinks that can be covered into hard floor surface and spectator arenas, which are suitable for a variety of sports and entertainment uses.

This is a whole ice complex with sophisticated modern equipment: a refrigeration unit and units for water treatment as well as a powerful complex of ventilation chambers. The ice poured area of 61x30m (1,830m2) can accommodate up to 120 people for mass skating sessions on the ice arena.

The spectator tribunes can sit up to 800 spectators at sports events and can be transformed into a concert hall expanding the viewer area by a third to 1,100 sits, or to an exhibition hall with a larger floor area.

It is the official training base of the Cyprus National Figure Skating and Hockey teams and is supported by the Cyprus National Olympic Committee.

This project is the result of cooperation between professional and semi-professional hockey leagues of the Russian Federation as well as fans of different levels living on the island and patrons of the sport.

This unique sports facility is designed to become a springboard for a new generation of young hockey players and figure skaters, and the future members of the Cyprus National Teams in these beautiful and strong types of sport, as well as a venue for holding sporting events for athletes in hockey, figure skating, dance sport, gymnastics competitions and others.
